The Bereavement Support Group

The Bereavement Support Group is an open-ended group for persons having experienced the death of a loved one. It has a continuously changing membership. The group provides support and education helpful to processing your individual grief. The objective of this group is to assist caregivers/family members in understanding personal grief and mourning and to offer time for sharing and expression.

The Bereavement Support Group meets the first Tuesday and the third Thursday of every month in Dining-Conference Room #3 of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

The Cancer Support Group

The Cancer Support group is an open-ended group for people living with cancer. It has a continuously changing membership. The group provides education, support, and practical help for the cancer patient and family/caregiver. The objective of this group is to assist patient/caregivers/family members in coping with the everyday aspects of living with cancer by offering a time for sharing, support and information.

The Cancer Support Group meets the fourth Thursday of every month in Dining-Conference Room #3 of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

The Multiple Sclerosis Support Group meets at the Riverisde Wellness Center and Fitness Center the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
