NEW! Prerequisites coming to the Riverside School of Health Careers campus September 2008!

Beginning this September, Thomas Nelson Community College will offer several college level courses at Riverside School of Health Careers’ Newport News campus. The following college courses will be available on-site: College Success Skills, Principles of Psychology, Introduction to Mathematics, and Anatomy and Physiology. Additional classes will be offered in 2009.

TNCC reps will be on campus to offer Placement Testing

When: Tuesday, August 26^th 9am – 11am and Wednesday, August 27^th 1pm – 3pm

Where: 320 Main Street, Newport News (Building 320, classroom 104)

Prerequisite college level courses are required for admission to several of Riverside’s programs.

The Riverside Health System Job Shadowing Program also allows you to explore and gain knowledge about rewarding professions in healthcare. To participate, download the welcome letter and application. After completing the application, mail or bring it to 316 Main Street, Newport News.

Transcripts
Transcripts are available to all graduates of Riverside School of Health Careers. To receive a transcript, please complete the Transcript Request Form and submit the form to the School Registrar, with a $7.00 fee for each transcript requested. Please allow 5-10 business days for your transcript to arrive. All directions and needed addresses are included on the form.
