Director, Riverside Business Health Services
Elizabeth Niles, MHSA, is the Director of Business Health for Riverside Health System. Elizabeth received her undergraduate education at James Madison University and a Masters in Health Services Administration from the George Washington University.  Elizabeth has extensive experience in the healthcare field.  Her primary focus has been working with providers to enhance patient services, quality of care, and access to care. She is a member of community health coalitions and participates in local civic groups. Elizabeth views the services provided by RBHS as essential to maintaining a healthy and productive workforce. 

Medical Director, Riverside Business Health Services
Our programs are supervised by our Medical Director, Eric Obie, MD.  Dr. Obie is a family medicine physician at Riverside Williamsburg Medical Center- Urgent Care in Williamsburg, VA where he serves as both a primary and urgent care practitioner.  He has experience in the field of occupational health as well as Department of Transportation regulations and guidelines.  Dr. Obie is a Certified Medical Review Officer with experience in drug and alcohol testing.  

Medical Director, Riverside Business Health Services
Our Medical Director, Mark E. MacDonald, MD, supervises the occupational health clinic on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center.  Additionally, he acts as the Medical Director for the RBHS Clinic on-site at Christopher Newport University.  Dr. MacDonald is board certified in family practice.  Dr. MacDonald has a broad range of knowledge and experience from being in the military, working as a local policeman (which he does on a volunteer basis during weeks when his case load is slow!) and supervising the residents in our hospital. Dr. MacDonald has been involved with occupational health and employee health for the past 15 years.  He is married with two daughters. 

Medical Director, Riverside Business Health Services
Gregory J. Biernacki, MD, MPH, Medical Director, practices Occupational Medicine at the Riverside Williamsburg Medical Arts-Family Practice and provides onsite services to various RBHS clients including Siemens Automotive and Canon Virginia.  Dr. Biernacki received his MD from Georgetown University Medical School, did his initial training in Internal Medicine at Keesler Regional Medical Center and received his MPH and completed his residency in Preventive Medicine at MCV.  He has served as a flight surgeon in the USAF and was Chief of Aerospace Medicine for the Virginia Air National Guard.  He is a Medical Review Officer and has extensive experience in all aspects of occupational medicine. 
 
Family Nurse Practitioner, Riverside Business Health Services
Mrs. Corrie Crook, Family Nurse Practitioner, provides occupational health services to employees at the Riverside Occupational Health Clinic on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Crook received her B.S. in nursing from SUNY College at Brockport and her M.S. in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Old Dominion University.  She performs pre-employment, annual and return to work physicals for area companies.  She also performs pulmonary function testing, audiometric testing, EKG tracing and interpretation, drug screen collections and wellness counseling.  Mrs. Crook is ACLS/BCLS trained and CAOHC, SANE, and NIOSH certified. 

Clinical Nurse Manager
Deborah Nakamura, MS, RN COHN-S, is the Clinical Nurse Manager for RBHS.  She works with a diverse group of employers assisting with policy and procedures for a variety of Occupational Medicine services including preplacement physicals, FMLA issues, workers’ compensation cases and drug and alcohol programs.  Deborah currently directs the operation of the onsite clinics at Christopher Newport University, U. S. Amines and Siemens Automotive VDO where a wide range of occupational medicine services are delivered.  These include drug and alcohol collections, workers’ compensation care and case management, audiograms, preplacement exams and safety programs.  Deborah received her BS in Nursing from the University of Texas and her MS in Nursing Case Management from Christopher Newport University.

Riverside Business Health Services Support Staff
RBHS’s team of support staff facilitates the delivery of contracted services and delivers a high level of customer service. Staff members are cross-trained in order to meet the needs of clients and provide a team approach to the delivery of services.  Our support staff consists of five full time employees available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Sales Account Representative
Joanne Branson is Business Health’s Sales Account Representative. Her responsibilities include sales and marketing as well as overall account management for corporate clients. As a lifelong Hampton Roads native, Joanne is skilled at teaching local businesses how changing their Healthcare/Wellness Initiatives will benefit their bottom lines and enhance the health of their employees. Her passion is customizing packages which fully address the unique healthcare issues facing today’s conscientious business-owner. Joanne joined Business Health Services in September of 2007.
 
Business Accounts Coordinator
Amy Etheridge is the Business Accounts Coordinator for our division.  Amy received her B.S. in Pre-Law from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has an extensive background in customer service, office management and human resources.  Amy is responsible for managing the accounting process, managing our occupational health software and training all administrative staff.  Additionally, Amy acts as back up for our Customer Service Coordinator.   She works closely with our clients to ensure proper reporting of charges and handles all payable and receivable operations. She is available to answer billing questions for our provider network throughout our service area. Amy joined us in February of 2005.

Customer Service Coordinator
Our Customer Service Coordinator, Missy Baines, is responsible for working with key accounts and facilitating scheduled services at our provider locations across Hampton Roads.  Missy is also responsible for ensuring that our provider network is meeting the needs of our clients.  She works closely with each physician in our network and their staff to ensure compliance on contracted services.  Missy also helps process drug and alcohol testing results and physical results while constantly communicating to our clients.  She works closely with our Medical Review Officer, Dr. Eric Obie, to confirm positive drug testing results quickly for our clients. Additionally, Missy coordinates all health fair activities.
