Intravenous (IV) drug therapy, previously administered only in the hospital, can now be administered in the home, thanks to remarkable innovations in “portable” technology. Our specially trained nurses can teach patients and/or caregivers how to safely and easily administer most forms of IV medications in the home. A Treatment Plan Just for You

The dedicated pharmacy professionals at Peninsula Pharmacy Services develop an individual therapy treatment plan based on your physician’s orders. If you are an in-hospital patient, our hospital-based transition nurse will assess your condition before you go home, answer your questions and help plan for any care you might need. After you arrive home, we will continue to support you with monitoring, patient education and services to promote independence and comfort. A nurse and pharmacist are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing around-the-clock care.

Payment for Home Infusion Services

Our reimbursement specialists will coordinate direct billing to insurance companies and other payment sources. We will assist you in investigating insurance coverage for home care and will explain the billing for our services.
