One Day Surgery Center
The One Day Surgery Center at the Riverside Regional Medical Center handles the more complex surgical interventions of modern medicine. Our physicians perform more than 5,500 same day surgeries a year. One day surgery also is performed at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Tappahannock Hospital. The Riverside Hampton Surgery Center, a department of Riverside Regional Medical Center, provides an ambulatory surgery option for area physicians. At the center in Hampton, surgeons perform ophthalmology, podiatry, ENT, gynecology, orthopaedics, and general surgery.

Peninsula Surgery Center
The Peninsula Surgery Center on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center is a state-of the-art facility jointly owned by area physicians and Riverside. Surgeons perform outpatient orthopedic, gynecologic, ENT and general surgical procedures.

Doctors Surgery Center
Doctors Surgery Center, which opened in 2004, is located at the Riverside Healthcare Center-Williamsburg. This beautiful new facility is owned and operated by Williamsburg area surgeons and Riverside.

Riverside Healthcare and Diagnostic Centers
Riverside Healthcare and Diagnostic Centers are located in Newport News, Hampton, Williamsburg and Carrollton. Our diagnostic center in Williamsburg is all digital. It operates in a totally filmless environment and houses one of the most advanced digital mammography units.

Mobile Technology
Riverside also provides mobile technologies to every corner of our service area. Mobile cardiac catheterization, MRI, lithotripsy and a PET scanner support our more rural service areas.
