Riverside Regional Meidcal Center located in Newport News, VA, is seeking a  Assistant Nurse Manager for the Critical Care Complex Unit.  Position reports directly to the Nurse Manager responsible for a 14 bed, multi-service Intensive Care Unit and a 14 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The position will assist the Nurse Manager with all aspects of leadership and operational management of a very progressive critical care service. Focus areas include; track and analyze quality data, provide oversight to implementation of clinical initiatives, provide oversight and performance tracking of new employees, primary liaison to clinical educator and unit preceptors, collaborates to plan, develop, implement and evaluate opportunities to develop staff, facilitates application of evidence based practice, assists manager with performance appraisal process. Resource to Charge Nurse in daily operations. The individual should be motivated and aspire to be a leader in nursing. Experience in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent required. BSN required, Masters preferred. Must be Registered Nurse in the State of or compact.
Clinic Manager - RN PACE - Richmond
Full-time opportunity for a RN to monitor and evaluate seniors in our new PACE program. Additionally will develop and implement nursing care plans, perform patient procedures and treatments, administer IV therapy, blood and medications as well as provide direction for other members of the nursing care team. PACE is a new all-inclusive care delivery model for seniors and our PACE Center will be located in Richmond. Candidates should have an Associates Degree in Nursing, licensed as a RN in VA and have at least 1 year of service working with a frail or elderly population.
Coding Supervisor Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC)
Riverside Regional Medical Center located in Newport News, Virginia is seeking a Coding Supervisor to work primarily 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday with additional hours as needed to meet departmental staffing needs. The position is responsible for effective and efficient assignment of correct coding according to national coding guidelines, for all patient type records. Supervises the daily activities of the coding staff, productivity, and assignment. Responsible for training, competency assessments and performance reviews of coding staff. Oversee audits done by third party, and daily coding. Completion of an accredited American Health Information Management Association medical records technician (RHIT) program or American Health Information Management administrator (RHIA) program required and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) required. Achievement of Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required. Achievement of the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification preferred. 3-5 years progressive coding experience in an acute care facility with knowledge and ability to code all patient types.
Director of Occupational Health Riverside Medical Group - Newport News
Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full time qualified Director of Occupational Health for its diverse specialty group. The successful RN candidate would be responsible for supporting over 100 practice locations in the Tidewater and Northern Neck area. The role would include accountability and administration of Worker's Compensation, FMLA, PPD Compliance, Education, and New Practice Acquisition activities. This qualified candidate would also be involved in system wide policy implementation and oversight, program standardization, and reporting. A Masters prepared RN preferred, RN required with a minimum of 5 years Occupational Health managerial experience. Certification in Occupational Health preferred. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Director, Budget and Reimbursement Riverside Health System

Works under the supervision of the Accounting Director/Controller. For the employees under the direction of the Manager, the Manager schedules their work, evaluates their performance, resolves employee complaints and administers discipline when necessary. Additionally, for the employee group, the Manager is responsible for the quality of work, the productivity of the group, the morale of the work group, the expense (labor and capital) for the area, the working relationship with other departments, and employee adherence to hospital and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines. The Manager is responsible for the accurate preparation of the Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, monthly computation of third-party allowances and deductions from revenue, budgeted financial statements, income tax returns, business licenses, property tax returns, Virginia Health Information reports, special financial reports and analysis for the Riverside Health System on a monthly and annual basis. The manager is responsible for advising management of changes in regulations and making recommendations on structuring programs to comply with changing tax law. The manager is responsible for the development of computerized information systems to streamline the preparation of all reporting. The manager will also performs other duties as they are assigned. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin. with a concentration in Accounting or an MBA required. CPA, CMA or Fellow HFMA preferred. Three years prior experience as an Accountant required with demonstrated ability to use seasoned judgement in accounting determinations. Management experience preferred but not required. Experience with microcomputer and mainframe applications required.

Home Care Manager PACE - Richmond
