Newport News. Riverside Health System received three International Telly Awards for outstanding promotional programming.  Two of the prestigious national awards were given for television commercials featuring Riverside neurosurgeon James Lesnick, MD  and Cancer physician Mark Ellis, MD and one for a 30 minute production, A New Look at Riverside, which highlights the technology and clinical resources of Riverside Regional Medical Center.

Presented at the 28th annual Telly Awards, this recognition honors the best local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs along with video and film productions.  The Telly is the largest and most prestigious award of its kind receiving over 13,000 entries this year from all 50 states and 30 countries around the world.
